Steamer & Steaming Service

For those who do not do enough silk painting to justify purchasing a steamer, or do not wish to undertake the

pressure cooker method we will happily steam your fabric.

The cost per metre is £3.00 - Minimum 2 metres.

Please despatch to us by recorded delivery and we will return the same.
Allow at least 21 days for this service.
Please note, with regret we cannot accept responsibility for

any faults or problems that may develop with fabric or dyes during the steaming process.
Correctly applied dyes and gutta present no problem.

Steamer And Paper

An electric thermostatically controlled steaming chamber that is half the price of those sold in France.

Made from light weight stainless steel, it will accommodate

fabric widths up to 1 metre, and approx. 25 metres length.

It is important to utilise the correct paper for rolling the fabric in and it is for this reason that we supply plain undyed kraft paper.

Paper may be re-used as long as no dye or gutta has been transferred. The steaming process takes about 2 hours though the time will vary dependant on fabric type.
